1Who is responsible for your data
The controller of your personal data is the Svitlytsya Maystra joinery workshop (Slobidka village, Ternopil region, Ukraine). We process data in accordance with the Law of Ukraine "On Personal Data Protection". If you are in the EU or the UK, you also have the rights described in the GDPR.
For any questions about your data, email tataryntm@ukr.net or call the numbers listed on the Contact page.
2What data we receive
What you send us through the "Write to us" form: your name, phone number, email address (optional) and your message.
What you send us by messenger or phone (Viber, a call) is handled in the same way as a form enquiry.
Technical data. Like any website, the hosting server automatically logs your IP address, browser type, the page you opened and the time of the request. These logs are needed for security and for the site to work.
Anonymous visit statistics. We count how many people visit the site, which pages and pieces they look at, where they come from (for example Google or Facebook) and whether they use a phone or a computer. No cookies are used for this and your IP address is not stored: instead we use an anonymous identifier that changes every day, so it cannot be used to identify you.
3Why we use this data
To answer your enquiry: give advice, prepare a quote, arrange a measuring visit and carry out your order.
To send you a confirmation email if you gave us your email address.
To protect the site and the form from spam and abuse.
To improve the site based on anonymous statistics.
We do not use your data for advertising, we do not send newsletters, and we never sell or share your data for marketing.
4Legal basis
Your consent — by sending the form you agree to the processing of the data in it so that we can answer you. You can withdraw your consent at any time by writing to us.
Steps taken at your request before entering into a contract (a quote, measuring) and the performance of the contract.
Our legitimate interest — site security and anonymous statistics.
5Who can access the data
Form enquiries go only to the workshop's mailbox and are seen only by the craftsmen handling your order.
Technically, data passes through services the site cannot work without: the hosting provider whose server hosts the site, and the email service that delivers our messages.
We may disclose data to public authorities only where the law expressly requires it.
6Third-party services on the site
To show you some content, the site loads it from other services. They receive your IP address and browser information and may set their own cookies under their own privacy policies:
Google Fonts — the site's fonts; Google Maps — the map on the Contact page; Unsplash — some background photos; YouTube (privacy-enhanced mode) and Vimeo — videos in museum blog posts, where present.
The links to our Instagram, Facebook and TikTok pages are plain links: these networks receive nothing until you click them.
7Cookies and browser storage
The site does not use advertising or analytics cookies.
Only the Contact page sets a technical session cookie (PHPSESSID): it protects the form against forgery and lets us show the "Thank you" message after you send it. It is deleted when you close your browser.
Your browser's storage (localStorage) only keeps a note that you closed the language suggestion, so that it does not appear again.
8How long we keep data
Enquiries — for as long as needed to contact you and complete your order, including the warranty period. At your request we will delete them sooner unless the law requires us to keep them.
Anonymous statistics are deleted automatically after 13 months.
Server logs are kept for a limited time according to the hosting provider's settings.
9Your rights
You have the right to know what data we hold about you and how we use it; to access it; to have inaccurate data corrected or deleted; to withdraw your consent; to object to processing; and to complain to the Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights (or, in the EU/UK, to your local data protection authority) or to a court.
To exercise your rights, email tataryntm@ukr.net. We will reply within 30 calendar days.
10How we protect data
The site works only over a secure HTTPS connection. Only the workshop owners have access to the admin area, which is protected by a password and a limit on login attempts. Backups are made regularly.
11Children
The site is not intended to collect data from children. If you are under 14, please ask a parent to contact us.
12Changes to this policy
We may update this policy if the way the site works or the law changes. The current version is always on this page; last updated 11 October 2026.
